About the role

· Our Site Buyer will be a member of the Procurement team and will be responsible for supporting the management of Indirect, Raw Material Distribution, Industrial Gases, etc. Site Buyer will negotiate purchasing contracts, manage procurement processes and drive procurement continuous improvement for one or several sites in the NAM region.

· As a Site Buyer, you will negotiate purchasing contracts, manage procurement processes, and drive procurement continuous improvement for one or several sites in the NAM region. You will get the opportunity to be responsible for developing and leading the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, RFIs and RFPs including the competitive bidding process, service provider selection, and negotiating price and terms/conditions in partnership with internal stakeholders and legal. You will also have the opportunity to develop master service agreements and statements of work with SLAs.

  • You will be accountable for:
    • Conduct purchasing activities, including spot buys, contract negotiation with local suppliers, and purchase request validation.
    • Manage supplier relationships, assessments, and ensure administrative follow-up of contracts.
    • Collaborate with internal customers to define purchasing needs and develop requests for quotes.
    • Support contract implementation, promote automation, manage site spending, and deploy central contracts.
    • Represent the site in procurement matters, coordinate with relevant teams, and drive process improvement initiatives.

· We offer a permanent contract based on remote working mode.

About you

  • University degree or at least 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in mining, chemical plant, or refinery is preferred
  • Competencies:
    • Must have Procurement experience.
    • Knowledge of country /regional regulations
    • Knowledge on contracts
  • Behaviors:
    • Attention to detail
    • Organized
    • Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate with local senior management

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $92,000/yr to $105,000/yr, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
