About the Role
Our Industrial Controlling team, composed of 33 people, is part of the Finance department and focuses on driving financial performance and operational excellence in close collaboration with various business units.
As an Industrial Controlling Apprentice, you will work on standardizing reporting tools, supporting cost analysis, and contributing to the transformation journey of Solvay towards best practices and harmonization. You will have the opportunity to contribute to improving decision-making processes and have a positive impact on the company’s financial performance.
You will be accountable for:
Supporting the general standardization of reporting and decision-making tools across the organization.
Ensuring the application of guidelines and harmonization of reporting practices, particularly regarding variable and fixed costs and CAPEX reporting.
Assisting with specific tasks such as working capital analysis for the Soda Ash & Derivatives business unit.
Performing control checks to ensure consistency and reliability of reports.
Collaborating with various stakeholders and supporting the management in monitoring performance and decision-making.
We offer a 12-month apprenticeship contract with a hybrid working mode (remote work authorized 1 to 2 days per week).
About You
University degree or ongoing studies in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Competencies:
Proficient in Excel and Google Workspace tools.
Knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse is a plus.
Fluent in English
Behaviors:
Strong collaborative and communication skills.
Positive, proactive attitude with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
About salary and benefits
Salary to be defined according to the criteria for apprenticeship and professionalization contracts, taking into account the candidate's age and level of study.
A 13th month's salary, prorated to your time with the company
