About the role

  • Our Manufacturing team, composed of dedicated professionals, is integrated within the Production department and focuses on executing manufacturing processing in accordance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental) rules and regulations while meeting or exceeding customer requirements.
    As a Production Operator, you will work on ensuring safe operations, maintaining compliance with Process Safety Management, and meeting production schedules to support our operational excellence. You will get the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and have a positive impact on our overall efficiency and safety standards.

  • You will be accountable for:

    • Must be fully capable and willing to perform the duties and responsibilities of the following Job Classifications and/or duties: Level 1 Operator will be filled by newly hired employees while on probation.

    • Maintaining safety, quality and efficiency of operations. Ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.

    • Managing the flow of day-to-day operations within the assigned area. Supporting the plant’s quality management systems and its compliance with pertinent quality standards.

    • Completing assigned incident investigations and implementing HSE incident action items on time.Monitoring field equipment and taking corrective actions to maintain chemical processes within acceptable control guidelines.

    • Other duties as assigned by plant manager, supervisor or his designate.

  • ​We offer a permanent contract based on shifts working mode.

 

About you

  • Relevant education degree with high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Technical training (specialized training for operator or 2 years college) is desired. College studies should include sciences, e.g. chemistry, physics, engineering, and math.

  • Relevant work experience in industrial operations or a related field.

  • Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.

    • Proficiency in using relevant computer software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SAP, and Aspen Process Explorer. In-depth knowledge of packaging materials and their characteristics relevant to the company’s products.Ability to understand and manage process fundamentals, including pipe configurations and valve line-ups.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to solve practical problems. Offer solutions or advice to quality problems. Initiate & verify corrective actions as requested. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Individual past activities or work experience must indicate ability to organize, prioritize, and complete several multi-task assignments simultaneously.

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the South Korea base pay reasonably expected for this role is 30,000,000 to 32,000,000 KRW, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
