About the role
Our Group accounting and reporting team, composed of 11 people, is integrated in the Finance department.
As a ESG Reporting Manager, you will be in charge of the Solvay group ESG reporting, especially the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) reporting, part of Solvay Annual Integrated Report. You will collaborate with stakeholders from many different functions (sustainability, strategy, internal audit, legal, DT, Industrial).
You will be accountable for:
Conceptualizing, designing, formalizing and maintaining the ESG reporting in line with CSRD/EU Taxonomy and other relevant existing and emerging frameworks in a global context
Managing the ESG reporting and consolidation process (scope, methodology, timing, data quality) and drafting the corresponding procedures, guidelines and process description
Providing input to the further development of the double materiality approach in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Supporting the design and implementation of internal controls to ensure the timely correct, and transparent reporting of sustainability goals and metrics
Defining, implementing and maintaining sustainability reporting communication with internal and external stakeholders
Leading the selection and implementation of IT technical tools and systems for sustainability reporting
We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Finance
Relevant work experience in Finance in a corporate or business unit environment
Competencies:
Strong business acumen
Affinity to and good understanding of sustainability reporting requirements
Affinity for data-driven processes and automation
Behaviors:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Team player who has the ability to interact at all levels of the organization in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism
Good analytical skills and ability to synthesizing complex information
About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Belgium) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 110 400 euros to 153 300 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
