  • Conducting in-depth research on specific policy topics relevant to Solvay’s business, such as sustainability, climate policy, and industrial regulation.
  • Drafting briefing notes, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the preparation of internal and external events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Supporting the team with general administrative tasks and project coordination.

We offer a 6-month internship contract based on a hybrid working model in Brussels, starting from October 2025.

About you

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Political Science, Law, International Relations, European Studies, or a related field.

Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise summaries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Native or full professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • Fluency in another language (e.g., German, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian) is a plus.

Behaviors:

  • A proactive and curious mindset with a genuine interest in public affairs and policy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resourceful and accountable, with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
