Solvay obtains Great Place to Work® certification for one of its European sites

Share to

The award recognizes Solvay's commitment to creating a culture of employee well-being in the workplace.

Solvay is, for the second year in a row, awarded for its commitment to well-being at work, for its site based in Lisbon, Portugal. This certification is the highest level of recognition of the quality of a company's working environment.

In a survey conducted by the Great Place To Work® organization, a leading player in the field of quality of life at work, employees expressed their pride in working at Solvay's Lisbon site, and mentioned flexibility, safety and a welcoming environment as key strengths.

"There is a sense of pride regarding this certification. Being certified Great Place to Work® once again, is a great achievement that has been made possible thanks to our employees and the great attitude they continuously demonstrate on a daily basis", says John O'Shea - General Manager of Solvay Business Services.

Solvay's Lisbon site has been entirely designed to encourage collaborative working, with a subtle mix of co-working and social spaces. This new Great Place to Work® certification is a perfect illustration of the Solvay One Dignity program, which aims to create a diverse, fair and inclusive workplace at all Solvay sites worldwide.
