About the role

  • Our Accounting Platform team, composed of 10 people, is integrated in the SBS Finance Service Line based in Bangkok. The incumbent will represent local offices in Asia Pacific to perform and manage accounting activities in the accounting platform. Focus on accounting activity and
    collaboration with other Finance Service Units and other non-Finance functions.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • Prepare bank reconciliation.
    • Support closing month-end process.
    • Be responsible for accounting activities in terms of operational activities
    • Be responsible for monitoring and completing the Financial close cockpit (FCC) tasks on time.
    • Support and comply the internal control within the companies in charge to ensure the reliability of the financial statement and ensure corrective actions coming from audit reports are implemented.
    • Providing the requested information and replying any inquiries from external auditors on time so as to issue statutory financial statements in designated deadline.
    • Perform ad hoc activities or projects as assigned by team leader.
  • As an Accounting and reporting, you will work on accounting platform (operation tasks) to support the company accounting manager. You will get the opportunity to contribute with global team to implement various project to improve performance and productivity of finance service line and have a positive impact on your new experience.
  • We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode. (Work from home 3 days per week)

About you

  • Education degree and work experience:
    • A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
    • 1-3 years of work experience in bank reconciliation or general accounting.
    • Strong Accounting experience and regional role with local GAAP would be preferred
    • Strong prior experience of IFRS would be an added advantage
    • Experience in Multinational Companies (MNC) environment and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels across different cultures
    • Strong experience in SAP, BFC, BOIC would be a plus.
    • Work experience from audit companies will be advantage.
  • Competencies:
    • Ability to understand systems architecture and strong IT tools knowledge in SAP ERP,BFC.
    • A good command of both verbal and written English communication is necessary.
    • Analytical and logical thinking skills.
    • Good in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point and Google sheet.

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role.While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is 28,000 to 35,000,your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
