We are looking for:
- A highly skilled and experienced professional that will ensure a culture of Ethics & Compliance with a focus on the EMEA region.
- You will contribute to Ethics & Compliance Program and Strategy, participate in projects and ensure its implementations.
We count on you for:
- Contributing to Ethics & Compliance Program and Strategy, participate in projects and ensure implementation, conduct investigations.
- Participating in global Ethics & Compliance projects.
- Contributing to the design and implementation of an effective Ethics & Compliance program.
- Ensuring that the Ethics & Compliance program is endorsed and supported by (regional) senior management.
- Following up on best practices and regulatory requirements regarding compliance and business ethics, benchmarking with current practices.
- Building a stronger Speak Up culture.
- Developing third-party oversight in Solvay and implementing policies and best practices accordingly to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to third parties.
- Performing investigations based on compliance allegations or concerns raised through different channels (Ethics Helpline, Managers, Compliance, Audit, Legal, HR,...).
- Ensuring fair and consistent disciplinary or corrective actions in case of substantiated breaches to policies, values, or the Code of Business Integrity.
- Proposing remedial actions and measures that focus on prevention.
- Identifying, mitigating, monitoring, and managing Ethics & Compliance risks.

You will bring:
- Law degree or Master’s or MBA degree in Business/Economics or equivalent
- Good knowledge of compliance requirements and policies
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations related to compliance and business ethics
- Previous experience in an international/corporate environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- A business-oriented mindset
- Good analytical and conceptual skills
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
