About the role

 

  • As a Production Engineer, you will oversee integrity improvements at our Deer Park production facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing and improving current processes, managing industrial and manufacturing excellence projects, and ensuring process safety and product quality within the unit. Your contributions will be vital to the competitiveness and sustainability of our production process.
  • You will be accountable for:
    • Developing and managing project scopes, including conceptual designs, specifications, drawings, and estimates.
    • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards, and company policies, and support day-to-day manufacturing activities including troubleshooting and incident investigations.
    • Optimize and minimize variation in plant operations focusing on safety, energy efficiency, and product quality, while ensuring all activities respect HSE rules and regulations.
    • Assist in realizing production plans, monitor production KPIs and process parameters, contribute to proposals and projects, and coordinate process improvement initiatives.
    • Support and lead tasks within Manufacturing Excellence programs, determine project feasibility and economic value using stage gate techniques, manage assigned projects, and implement testing of new technologies.
    • Act as a liaison regarding technological matters towards other departments, suppliers, and customers, develop documentation about the production process, compile technical information, and provide customer support in quality terms.
  • We offer a permanent contract based on onsite working mode.

 

About you

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Ability to work effectively with relevant computer software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Access, SAP, SRM7 Aspen Process Explorer, Aspen Calc, IP.21, Yokogawa CentumVP DCS, SQLplus, Visual Basic, Visio, AutoCad, and eB director.
  • Competencies:
    • Proficiency in accurate oral and written English communication.
    • Ability to perform under pressure, maintaining speed, accuracy, and sustained attention during critical deadlines.
    • Possession of near acute vision, including the ability to read normal size type and distinguish colors.
    • Good knowledge of English language (written and verbal).

About the pay and benefits

 

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the USA base pay reasonably expected for this role is $98,000 to $105,000 per year, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
